1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) after payment confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is dispatched, including a tracking number. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.

2. Shipping Destinations

We ship worldwide. If your country does not appear at checkout, please contact us at contact@japanese-kimono.com and we will do our best to accommodate your order.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times depend on the destination and the carrier’s performance. The estimates below are calculated from the dispatch date and exclude weekends and public holidays.

4. Shipping Costs

We offer free shipping worldwide on every order, with no minimum purchase required.

5. Order Tracking

As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to follow your shipment. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to be updated by the carrier after dispatch. If you have any difficulty tracking your order, please contact us at contact@japanese-kimono.com and we will assist you.

6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping cost. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information on applicable fees before placing your order.

7. Incorrect Shipping Address

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact us immediately at contact@japanese-kimono.com. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will update the address. Once shipped, address changes are no longer possible.

8. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

If your package appears to be lost in transit (no tracking update for more than 14 business days after dispatch), please contact us at contact@japanese-kimono.com. We will open an investigation with the carrier and, if the package cannot be located, we will offer a replacement or full refund. If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you. We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but reported as not received by the customer. However, we will assist in opening an inquiry with the carrier whenever possible.

9. Delivery Confirmation

Once the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided, our delivery obligation is considered fulfilled. If you are not at home at the time of delivery, the carrier will follow their standard procedure (redelivery attempt, pickup point, etc.).

10. Multiple Items in One Order

If you order multiple items, they may occasionally be shipped separately depending on stock availability. You will receive a separate tracking number for each shipment. There is no additional shipping cost for split shipments.
